Where Root Lives
Root works in a dedicated home bar corner, stocked and styled, with the doors left open. It works equally well closed, in a living room or study, where the panel pattern reads as a surface worth looking at rather than a storage unit. The vertical format suits tighter, more formal spaces. The horizontal draws out a room with lower ceilings. Either way, it holds the wall without dominating it.
The Making
Root is built on a solid wood frame with doors finished in a two-tone engineered veneer inlay. The irregular pattern across the front panels suggests nature without imitating it. Cylindrical solid wood legs ground the piece in a natural finish. Assembled to order, each unit carries its own grain placement and tonal variation.
